Renewable energy to be an important source of energy for Africa

In an exclusive Energy Connects Discussion in the lead-up to the World Utilities Congress 2023, Julian Walker spoke with, Linda Mabhena-Olagunju, CEO of DLO Energy Resources Group, who owns the second-largest wind farm in South Africa. Linda discusses why renewable energy is a very important source of energy for Africa, but renewables have not reached their full potential in Africa. Linda states that Africa will need to utilise its full energy mix effectively as the continent will need all the power that it can get in the future and if it can come from clean energy sources, that will be better for the environment and better for people as well.
