In an exclusive studio interview from EGYPS 2023, Julian Walker sat down with His Excellency Haitham Al Ghais, Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), to talk about his outlook for oil demand and why he is coming into 2023 with an upbeat tone with all the positivity in the market around China re-opening, which is showing good signs in terms of oil demand. The Secretary General also touched on why he wants to see an orderly energy transition and COP28 in the UAE at the end of the year will be a great opportunity for everyone to come to the table and discuss the future in a positive manner.
