China hydro storage system to increase reliance on renewables
In an attempt to boost renewable energy consumption, China released a plan that sets out measures to develop its hydro storage system by 2035.
he National Energy Administration (NEA) said that they will launch more than 62 gigawatts (GW) of pumped hydro storage in 2025 and 120 GW in 2030. Simultaneously, they will establish globally competitive companies that use advanced technology by 2035.
