Neptune Energy awards contracts worth $ 4.07
Neptune Energy said it has awarded contracts worth US $4.07 million (£3 million) to support gas production at Cygnus Alpha and Bravo platforms in the UK Southern North Sea.
“We are continuing to work with our partners across the supply chain to ensure continued safe and efficient operations at Cygnus, which is strategically important for domestic gas supply to the UK,” said Neptune Energy’s Director of Operations for the UK, John Moffat.
These contracts include the extensions of two contracts to Petrofac for operations and maintenance and engineering at Cygnus which began by 2022. The remaining contracts cover diving support vessel services, helicopter services and general inspection activities, the company said.
“The work will support maintaining high levels of gas production from the facility, which is capable of producing 6 percent of UK domestic gas demand,” Neptune Energy said.
