UAE is "fully committed" to the OPEC+ agreement
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) said it is "fully committed" to the OPEC+ agreement, the state news agency WAM reported on Thursday.
The news agency reported that "the ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has affirmed that the UAE remains fully committed to the Declaration of Cooperation (OPEC+) and reiterates that any decisions will be taken collectively by the OPEC+ group in its next Ministerial meeting."
OPEC is to meet on December 1st and OPEC+ is set to meet on December 2nd to discuss the oil supply. The group has not yet responded to the increase in oil supplies by the United States.
The OPEC and its allies have resisted requests from the U.S. to increase oil supply. They said that they will increase the output as previously agreed upon to 400,000 barrels per day (bpd) each month starting December.
