IEV awarded subsea inspection contract in Malaysia
Singapore-listed IEV Holdings has been awarded an advanced inspection solutions contract for an oil and gas field off Malaysia.
The deal was awarded through its 49 per cent-held associate, IEV Malaysia by an oil and gas producer.
IEV will deploy ultrasonic scanner technology by a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to inspect a subsea pipeline located at its offshore oil and gas field in Malaysia. The contract is worth US$1.5 million.
IEV said hat equipment and personnel preparation and mobilization have commenced, and offshore work is planned to be undertaken within the next few months.
