Today, emissions monitoring goes beyond compliance - it is a key driver of operational efficiency and long-term business resilience. That is the mindset driving GHGSat. As a global leader in high-resolution emissions monitoring through satellites and aircraft, GHGSat empowers oil and gas operators to gain precise, actionable insights that align directly with business goals.
To support this industry-wide shift in perspective, this exclusive webinar, held in partnership with GHGSat on 25 February 2026 at 16:00 GST | 7:00 ET, will feature experts exploring how satellite methane data is generated, interpreted and operationalised to help respond faster, prioritise repairs and achieve measurable emissions reductions. If you are an oil and gas operator, this webinar is your opportunity to gain insights into how satellite data can be used as a powerful tool for proactive emissions management and enhanced operational excellence.
Product Strategy Lead, Oil & Gas
GHGSAT
Richard Eyers brings an in-depth knowledge of the energy industry and the application of Earth Observation to his role as Product Strategy Lead, Oil & Gas at GHGSat. With over 17 years at Shell, Richard worked with industry-leaders in satellite applications, greenhouse gases, oil spill response and other environmental applications. He developed remote sensing and earth observation capacity and implemented global data and service agreements, the scope of which included satellites, crewed aircraft, drones and terrestrial sensors. In his previous role as a Principal Scientist, Richard evaluated site-level/top-down methods for methane measurement and quantification and established new capabilities in the drive towards OGMP 2.0 gold standard.
