Global aviation logistics specialist Menzies Aviation said on Monday it had renewed a contract for into-plane fueling operations for Shell Aviation across its entire UK fueling network.

The renewal of the contract means that Menzies will maintain its existing relationship with Shell Aviation at six locations: London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham, London Luton, Manchester, and London Stansted airports. The contract has also been extended to include Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

“We have a long-standing relationship with Shell Aviation in the UK and have increasingly grown our fuels service provision for them,” Morven McCrindle, Executive Vice President – Fuels, Menzies Aviation, said in a statement. “This latest award sees a further expansion of our fuels business and we are delighted to continue working with Shell as we look to grow our fuels portfolio globally,” she added.

According to Christos Papastergiou, Regional Operations Manager, Shell Aviation, the company highly valued Menzies’ approach to continuous improvement and continually seeking new solutions, along with its strong track record as a safe and efficient operator. “We’re pleased to extend this long-term partnership,” he said.
