A $2.5 Billion Cable Will Help Australia to Tap Tasmania’s Dams
Australia has cleared the construction of a multibillion-dollar undersea power cable between the mainland and renewables-rich island state Tasmania.

ACWA Power secures $3.4bn financing for two major power projects in Saudi Arabia
ACWA Power, in partnership with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), has finalised senior debt financing for two major independent power producer (IPP) projects in Saudi Arabia, Rumah 1 and Nairyah 1, with a combined capacity of 3,600 megawatts (MW). The total financing package amounts to SAR 12.8 billion ($3.4 billion).
