Aspen Tech sees digital trends in energy industry accelerating during pandemic

Antonio Pietri, President and Chief Executive Officer, Aspen Technology, discusses how the energy industry is evolving and constantly changing and whatever was thought to take time has come sooner than expected. “One thing that is clear from the pandemic is that digital trends have been accelerate,” he told Energy Connects. He said that the way forward is looking at high technologies’ capabilities, cloud computing and other means to monitor emissions and reduce consumptions and key resources.
