Established over four decades ago in the United Arab Emirates, Emarat, a modern fuel services company that comprises commercial fuel and petrol products, has grown to become an oil and gas provider of choice for the public and private sectors in the UAE.

In its operations, Emarat focuses on innovation, sustainability, and community engagement to drive its success, in line with the wise vision of the leadership of the UAE.

Emarat, under the stewardship of its Director General, His Excellency  Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, has aligned with the wise vision of the UAE leadership to implement strategies that position the company as a leader in the energy sector. Al Shamsi’s strategic foresight is driving the company to new heights, achieving operational excellence and fostering a deeper connection with its community and customers.

Under Al Shamsi’s leadership, Emarat has signed numerous agreements and forged partnerships, particularly with home grown entities to further empower sustainable and locally grown ventures highlighting the UAE’s outstanding homegrown talent.

Emarat’s legacy in the UAE is bolstered by its ownership and operation of the largest natural gas transmission system in the Northern Emirates, established in 1981. Spanning over 350 kilometres, the pipeline is distributed all over Northern Emirates, supplying to consumers a cleaner-burning alternative to gasoline or diesel, resulting in fewer greenhouse gas emissions. This shift contributes significantly to improved air quality and reduced environmental impact, and underscores Emarat’s commitment to providing reliable and efficient energy solutions, serving as a backbone for the region’s energy needs.

In efforts to align with the UAE’s national policy on biofuels, Emarat has embarked on a mission to implement new sustainable commitments to further promote environmental sustainability and reduce carbon footprint. This is a result of Emarat’s forward-thinking approach and dedication to contributing to a sustainable future.

In May 2023, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure launched the Global EV Market, a project designed to develop the UAE into a global market for electric vehicles (EV). The project supports the shift to green mobility and aims to increase EVs to 50% of total vehicles on the UAE’s roads by 2050. Emarat is making strides in the field of electric mobility, as it deployed its first two electric vehicle charging stations, marking a significant step towards supporting the UAE’s transition to greener transportation solutions. These charging stations are part of Emarat’s broader strategy to integrate advanced technologies and sustainable practices into its operations.

Emarat’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community engagement will undoubtedly reshape the industry landscape. This approach not only strengthens Emarat’s position in the market but also creates a more inclusive and connected ecosystem, benefiting all stakeholders involved.

Emarat, in line with the UAE’s visionary goals, is on a transformative journey, reinforcing its commitment to enhance the UAE’s global standing. The coproration’s efforts are crucial in fostering unique partnerships that put the customer first, boosting the attractiveness of both Dubai and the wider UAE.

This further positions Emarat at the forefront of the oil and gas industry. Emarat’s approach exemplifies how businesses can create value beyond their primary operations, setting new standards for the future of the energy industry.
