ExxonMobil announces four winners of the 2024 Power Play Awards
The awards, now in their sixth year, are given in four categories to recognize remarkable accomplishments of women in the industry, selected by an esteemed panel of judges. ExxonMobil announced the winners for the sixth annual Power Play Awards on Wednesday during a customer reception at Gastech.
What started as a series of networking events promoting diversity in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry has been turned into an awards program designed to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the remarkable women and men who uphold the importance of supporting and empowering them in the industry. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all who supported this important initiative and are key to its success. Thanks to our esteemed panel of international judges who volunteered and dedicated their time and expertise to evaluating the nominations and nominees.
To those that took the time to submit a nomination and recognize someone making a difference in the LNG value chain, we appreciate your effort. And, to the team that made the initiative and awards possible, thank you as well. These are the people that make Power Play possible.
The Power Play Awards received tremendous support again in 2024. We had 141 nominations from 115 different companies and 27 different countries. These individuals demonstrate how a mutually supportive environment can help support great business outcomes across all parts of the LNG value chain. The awards were made up of four individual categories: The Rising Star Award, The Ambassador Award, The Pioneer Award and our new award, The Low Carbon Accelerator Award.
The judging was conducted by an esteemed panel of nine judges. These international experts from across the LNG value chain have demonstrated interest in inclusion and diversity within the energy sector.
