TAQA Distribution partners with EMSTEEL to boost Abu Dhabi's industrial utilities
TAQA Distribution has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EMSTEEL Group to explore advanced utilities solutions for Abu Dhabi's expanding industrial sector, marking another strategic alliance for the energy subsidiary.
The agreement, signed at the World Utilities Congress 2025, will see TAQA Distribution, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, work with the UAE's largest steel and building materials manufacturer to deliver integrated power and water network management across the emirate's growing industrial landscape.
Under the MoU, TAQA Distribution will explore customised, end-to-end utilities solutions including rapid integration with existing infrastructure, cost-efficient maintenance, and deployment of ready-to-use technical teams. The company's track record of minimal service interruptions ensures reliable utility supply to customers in strategic sectors.

The partnership aligns with Abu Dhabi's Industrial Strategy, which aims to inject AED 10 billion into the sector, double manufacturing output to AED 172 billion by 2031, create over 13,000 skilled jobs, and significantly increase non-oil exports.
