Marcos Says Energy Exploration Talks With China Moving Forward
(Bloomberg) -- Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said energy exploration with China in the disputed South China Sea remains possible, as he sought to deescalate tensions with Beijing.
Marcos said talks with China on the matter is moving forward, and that the two sides are “slowly working through” issues. Asked if a deal is possible within his term until 2028, he said he can’t give a definite timetable.
