OGCI sees upscaling of technology as key to reducing methane emissions
In an exclusive studio interview from Future Energy Asia 2023, Julian Walker sat down with Julien Perez, VP Strategy & Policy at the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI), to discuss why technology is allowing the energy industry to address methane emissions in a much more meaningful way. Julien noted that direct methane emissions from the industry could be resolved quickly thanks to technologies that have been scaled up recently. We also hear about the successful methane monitoring programme carried out in Iraq.
