China's Sinopec adds two new tanks
China's Sinopec Corp added two new tanks for liquefied natural gas at its receiving terminal in the eastern province of Shandong, the company said on Tuesday.
These additions are two months ahead of the winter heating season starting mid-October. Each tank has the size of 160,000 cubic meters and are ready to be used this month.
The terminal's annual handling capacity is 7 million tonnes, or equivalent to 9.6 billion cubic meters a year, the company said. This means that they have a 17 percent increase than its current annual capacity.
