Viridien, previously known as CGG, announced that its Sensing & Monitoring business line, marketed under the Sercel brand, has successfully sold its state-of-the-art Marlin vessel monitoring and alert system to ExxonMobil Guyana Ltd. This system will be integral in supporting ExxonMobil’s offshore operations in Guyana.

The Marlin vessel monitoring, and alert system is part of the broader Sercel Marlin software suite designed to optimise offshore operations. This innovative system marks a significant leap forward in ensuring the safety of offshore activities, especially for floating production storage and offloading platforms (FPSOs) and other high-value assets. Capable of withstanding even the most challenging marine environments, the Marlin system offers comprehensive protection against a wide array of marine risks.
